2nd to 4th weeks in January 2023 Online via Google Meet.	CAL Japanese summer school and CAL Korean Summer School 3 hours online plus 2 hours of homework each week for a total of 15 programmed hours. Monday 30 January 2023	First day of Term 1 for new students at day schools in 2023 CAL classes will not be scheduled in Week 1 of Semester 1, so that home schools and colleges can finalise student class placements

Thursday 2 February 2023, 6 pm Semester 1, Week 1 Online via Google Meet	Registration evening At this session, we will provide you with latest information on program plans for 2023, and demonstrate how to find current information online about programs throughout the year. Enrolled students and their families will receive the link by email.

Saturday 18 February 2023 From 10 am Glebe Park, near Workshop Tent 1 (by the gate at the north end of Glebe Park)	Multilingual Story Walk at the 2023 National Multicultural Festival (NMF). See ACTBEA website for more details.
Sunday 19 February 2023, 10 am to 12 pm Garema Place Stage, Canberra City	National Multicultural Festival ‘Languages Showcase’, with Andrew Geoffrey Kwabena Moss. Of Anglo-Ghanaian heritage and Vesna Cvjeticanin. Canberra poet and a short-story non-fiction writer, who writes in both Serbian and English. Sunday 26 February 2023	Mother Language Walk 2023 Celebrating Australia's diversity of languages and cultures. Canberrans are invited to join in a Language Walk to mark the UNESCO-designated International Mother Language Day on Sunday 26 February. At 10.30 am, participants will meet under the flags near the National Library. There will then be a community language walk over Kings Avenue Bridge, ending near the Police memorial at about 11.30am with a picnic and sausage sizzle. More details on IMLM website.

Monday 27 March 2022, 6 pm Online via Google Meet	Online information evening about CAL programs for students wishing to commence in Term 2 of 2023. Programs are offered in French, German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and Tamil. Information and advice on learning languages in Years 11-12. Receiving credit for your languages studies towards the ACT Senior Secondary Certificate and towards the ATAR. How CAL's programs are set up. How to find current information through our online systems about programs throughout the year. What you need to do if you are planning to commence with us in Term 2. Thursday 21 September 2023, 6 pm	Information evening about CAL programs for 2024. To register for the session, please email info@cal.act.edu.au, preferably by COB Monday 18 September, so that we can send you the link for the online meeting. Meeting agenda: Information and advice on senior secondary languages options (including early access) for students whose language of choice is not available through their day school. Receiving credit for your languages studies towards the ACT Senior Secondary Certificate and towards the ATAR. Delivery model with a weekly face-to-face session and weekly study program to complete at home, supported by online guidance and resources. Programs offered in languages. We have courses in French, German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and Tamil in 2023. We may also run programs for Arabic, Indonesian, Hindi, and Italian in 2023 if there are sufficient numbers of students interested.
